WARRANTY INFORMATION
All pre-built short block engines come with a one year/12,000 mile limited warranty. This warranty will cover the cost of labor ONLY for the purchaser of the engine in the event the engine would need to come back within the warranty time frame. Warranty only applies to the original purchaser and can not be transferred if the purchaser decides to resell the engine. All warranty work MUST be returned to me at the customer’s cost and in no situation will money be refunded or reimbursed for shipping or transportation of the engine. Under no circumstance will a cash refund be available to the purchaser of the engine. Any engine disassembled prior to shipping back to me will be void of any warranty. Any engine being used with a stand alone engine management system or single turbo setup will be given a 500 mile break in warranty and is not subject to the 1 year/12,000 mile warranty. If an engine is sent in for warranty work I will do my best to provide any hard parts (housings, iron, rotors) at the best possible price. This is subject to what I have access to at the time of the warranty work. If engine failure occurs due to overheating, lack of oil pressure, faulty installation, fuel injector failure, OMP failure, detonation, or tuning during the warranty period free labor for warranty work will NOT apply. If any engine purchaser believes there is a problem with the engine please contact us via email at David@rotaryrebuildstore.com. We will always do our best to work with the original purchaser of the engine to resolve any situation that may arise. Engines will arrive with some oil in the rotor housings due to lubrication of the bearings and housing mating service during the rebuild process. However, we ask that the buyer please prime the oil system before starting the engine after installation. Remove the EGI fuse which will prevent the car from starting, and turn the key and crank the engine until oil pressure registers on the stock oil pressure gauge. Once oil pressure has registered, reinstall the EGI fuse and proceed in starting the engine if all other accessories are properly installed.
